Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been plagued with countless criticisms throughout the past couple of months. And during a recent interview, the interviewer described the royal couple as vulnerable and bruised.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly want to take some time away from their royal duties by traveling to the United States in November to celebrate Thanksgiving in Los Angeles. But the Sussexes will be in London for Christmas.

“The duke and duchess have a full schedule of engagements and commitments until mid-November, after which they will be taking some much-needed family time,” a source said.

Prince Harry and Markle’s break will last for approximately six weeks. And another source claimed that during this time, the couple may also head back to South Africa to finalize a deal at one of the properties in Botswana.

“They would love to build a traditional bush lodge, constructed by locals, bringing work and trade to the land. There has also been the talk of a local school being built as well. Most importantly they want somewhere where they have complete privacy and will not be disturbed,” the source said.

Reports about Prince Harry and Markle leaving the United Kingdom for good or temporarily have been ripe ever since they were slammed by the press. But during a previous interview, the Duke of Sussex said that leaving the country for good will be difficult because of his royal duties.

Even though the royal couple is constantly criticized by the press, it is unlikely that they would abandon their royal duties. But it is possible that they could buy a property in South Africa, which will serve as their vacation home while they are on the continent.

South Africa holds a special place in Prince Harry’s heart. And it has also become very special to Markle. The couple went to Botswana shortly after they started dating in 2016. And in their engagement interview, they revealed that they hung out under the stars while they were there.
