Meghan Markle added a certain factor in her pregnancy that Kate Middleton lacked.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex’s pregnancies are well-documented by their fans. They constantly make headlines when they are expecting. Thus, the comparison is inevitable.

Middleton and Markle have different pregnancy styles. According to Sunday Night’s documentary “Royal Baby,” Middleton is the first to “marry pregnancy fashion with style” and the duchess has an “understated elegance.” On the other hand, Markle added a “little Hollywood drama” in her condition which Middleton didn’t do.

“Look at what Meghan is wearing today, showing the bump,” one expert described Markle’s outfit. “Really skin-tight clothing but lordy, very, very Eiffel Tower high heels. She looks incredibly elegant but she probably wants to take off the heels and put on flip flops.”

Markle has been photographed touching her baby bump in various occasions following her pregnancy announcement. Some netizens found it too much that they asked Markle to stop doing it as they already knew that she’s pregnant and her baby would not fall off anyway.

One netizen accused Markle of being “seriously insecure” that’s why she kept on rubbing her tummy in public. Another user questioned why Markle couldn’t keep her hands off her baby bump and provided an answer to her query, “definitely acting lol.”

Meanwhile, a different user said that Markle was overdoing her pregnancy for the same reason. According to her, the Duchess of Sussex’s photos cradling her baby bump were too many compared to Middleton’s three pregnancies. The same netizen said that it’s useless for Prince Harry to be overprotective of his wife because Markle is “attention-grabbing.”

London-based stylist Lauren Jobling also compared Middleton and Markle’s pregnancy fashion. According to her, Markle wears neutral colors and her dresses are a “little more fitted to accentuate her bump.” She also mixes her wardrobe with different lengths of skirts and blouses.

Meanwhile, Middleton wore A line dresses to skim the bump and kept with subtle tones and styles. For Jobling, between the two duchesses, Middleton kept her pregnancy “very classic” because she didn’t bring too much attention to her baby bump.
