  • Meghan Markle and Prince Harry received a stormy reception during their latest royal engagement
  • The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left Archie at home in Vancouver Island in Canada as they perform the last of their royal duties
  • Meghan Markle, allegedly, agreed to come back to the United Kingdom for Prince Harry's sake

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry continue to receive hate and criticisms since they announced their decision to ditch the royal life for good in January. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were even met with a harsh reception when they returned to the United Kingdom to grace the last of their official engagements.

Woman’s Day New Zealand claimed that some members of the royal family, specifically Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Prince William, were disappointed when Meghan and Prince Harry decided to leave their only son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, in Canada. However, sources, reportedly, told the entertainment news publication that the Sussex couple thought they “had enough on their plates” in coming back to Britain and they want Archie to be out of the picture as much as possible.

“Meghan’s been anxiously awaiting these final public engagements and just wants them over with,” a tipster claimed. “She only agreed to attend for Harry’s sake and was dreading having to face both the royal family and the British public, which she feels mostly despise her,” it went on.

It was reported that Meghan Markle decided not to show any signs of frailty and decrepitude as she and Prince Harry bid farewell to the royal life. The source claimed that the former “Suits” actress slapped the palace with a long list of demands before she returned to the UK. Meghan, allegedly, arrived with an entourage, which includes a Reiki healer, dermatologist, tailor, two stylists, a therapist and a make-up artist from New York City.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have yet to comment on these reports. However, with Woman’s Day’s history of publishing stories based on the claims of its unnamed and phony sources, this could be another baseless rumor waiting to be debunked. Hence, avid followers of the Sussex pair should take these unverified claims lightly until everything is proven true and correct.

Meanwhile, Meghan and Prince Harry will, officially, step down as senior royals on March 31. During their final engagements, reports claimed that Archie’s parents had little to no interaction with Queen Elizabeth. They even appeared to be very distant with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

“It wasn’t the warm reunion that we were all hoping for. The tension in Harry’s body language especially was palpable,” body language expert Judi James explained to The Mirror. “Harry and Meghan looked a lot more genuinely cheerful, and Harry especially threw a really affectionate smile at Kate. As they took their seats Harry threw Kate an open-mouthed smile and ‘hello’ of what looked like genuine pleasure and Meghan raised her brows and smiled in an equally friendly ritual,” she continued.
