One of the reasons Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped down as senior members of the royal family was to get away from all the criticism and negative press. Unfortunately, for the couple, it seems like their problems have followed them.

The parents to 11-month-old Archie completed their royal duties on March 31 leaving them free to chart their path moving forward. As a part of that deal, they were essentially banned from using the Sussex Royal label, which they admitted that they didn't plan on using anyway.

Shortly after officially retiring their old label, Meghan and Harry confirmed their new one -- Archewell -- after it was leaked and it didn't go over well with some people who thought the timing was very off.

"Don’t think this is an appropriate time to launch this website #archewell," one Twitter user wrote. "Millions are fighting this terrible #COVID19 virus, thousands have died, with more to come. There is a time and a place and this is not it!"

Another shared, "Re: archewell. the prime minister of england is on life support during a global pandemic and harry and meghan felt 'compelled to share the story' of how they chose the name for their foundation."

Of course, there is always the other side of the situation. Some people admired the new name and wished Meghan and Harry well.

Meghan and Harry's announcement does come during a difficult time for most, but the couple acknowledged what was going on in the world on multiple occasions, including in their last post to their SussexRoyal Instagram page in late March.

"As we can all feel, the world at this moment seems extraordinarily fragile. Yet we are confident that every human being has the potential and opportunity to make a difference—as seen now across the globe, in our families, our communities and those on the front line—together we can lift each other up to realise the fullness of that promise," the caption read.

"What’s most important right now is the health and wellbeing of everyone across the globe and finding solutions for the many issues that have presented themselves as a result of this pandemic," they continued. "As we all find the part we are to play in this global shift and changing of habits, we are focusing this new chapter to understand how we can best contribute."

"While you may not see us here, the work continues," the caption went on. "Thank you to this community - for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world. We look forward to reconnecting with you soon. You’ve been great!"
