More and more people believe that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might move to Canada for good based on the latest odds.

Bookmakers Ladbrokes and punters reckon that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are most likely to move permanently to Canada over USA with odds at 3/1, Express reported. At present, Prince Harry and Markle are in Vancouver for the holidays.

Prince William’s brother and sister-in-law flew to the country days before Christmas. It wasn’t a surprise as the palace had announced earlier that they would not be spending the holidays with the royal family. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gave the couple a warm welcome on Twitter.

“Prince Harry, Meghan, and Archie, we’re all wishing you a quiet and blessed stay in Canada. You’re among friends, and always welcome here,” Trudeau wrote.

For months, there are rumors claiming that the royal couple have been considering moving to Canada. A source said that the two were thinking of relocating in the future.

“Meghan and Harry have considered moving to Canada, as it’s part of the Commonwealth,” a source told Us Weekly.

Prior to the said report, Rod Liddle published an article with the headline “Please America, take Meghan Markle back.” Andy Ngo shared the article on Twitter and it garnered several reactions from U.S. netizens saying that they do not want the former “Suits” star back.

“All yours, England. Once she accepted the title she gave up her US citizenship and......... we don't really want her,” one user commented.

“No Thanks. The brits are stuck with her. My British friends say they are not happy. A celebrity not royalty. They take their royals very seriously,” another user added.

A different online user called Markle a traitor and said that they do not take traitors back. Several users also joked that there is a “no-return policy” when Markle moved to London to be with her husband, Prince Harry.

In related news, Prince Harry and Markle’s long break have been criticized by a number of social media users. According to them, a six-week vacation is too long, so they should be removed from the civil list. Another online user added that they should not come back.
