A number of American netizens reacted to Rod Liddle’s call to take Meghan Markle back.

Liddle wrote an article for Spectator with a headline that read, “Please America, take Meghan Markle back.” Andy Ngo, an independent journalist shared the article on Twitter and it gained various reactions from netizens from the US with many not wanting Markle to return to America.

“Sorry, Rod. We’re full up on California SJWs at the moment. Item non-returnable,” one netizen commented.

"No UK, finders keeper,” a different user added.

“All yours, England. Once she accepted the title she gave up her US citizenship and......... we don't really want her,” a different user wrote.

“No Thanks. The brits are stuck with her. My British friends say they are not happy. A celebrity not royalty. They take their royals very seriously,” another user added.

While some slammed Markle, the duchess has strong supporters too. There are netizens who want to welcome her with open arms if in case she wants to return to America.

“Send her back, too bad you couldn't handle her intelligence, her style, and her blackness,” @workinmama wrote.

Meanwhile, another user said that Markle brought joy to the fun-loving prince. However, some might not agree with this because other online users felt that the duke was looking unhappy during his tour in South Africa with Markle.

In Liddle’s article, he said that Markle is “turning into a royal nightmare.” He also added that the duchess is “rubbing up the British the wrong way.”

He also insisted that Markle’s skin color is the least objectionable thing about her. Instead, it’s the other thing about Markle that they do not like including her bizarre obsessions and mutual contradictions and self-evident hypocrisies.

Prince Harry and Markle filed a lawsuit against Mail on Sunday. The royal prince also sued The Mirror and The Sun. Dan Wootton of The Sun reacted to Prince Harry’s move and called Prince William’s younger brother “Prince Harming” before adding that his war on press is “unhinged.”
