Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took many subtle digs at Prince William and Kate Middleton recently, and they ignited their rumored feud.

For months, there have been rumors suggesting that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at odds with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. According to Frederica Miller of Express, this matter even became a subject on Channel 5’s documentary “Princes at War.” Here are the reported insults that Prince Harry and Markle made against Middleton and Prince William.

Vogue Cover

When Markle guest-edited British Vogue, she declined to grace the cover of the magazine. According to magazine editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, they talked about the cover from the start and Markle said she didn’t want to appear on the cover because it would be “boastful.”

What Markle may have overlooked or simply put aside was the fact that Middleton graced the Vogue cover just three years ago. The Duchess of Cambridge appeared on the magazine cover for its centenary issue. Princess Diana also appeared on the same magazine cover four times.

Many didn’t accept Markle’s excuse. According to royal commentator Carole Malone, the Duchess of Sussex was a “hypocrite” because she has appeared on the covers of big magazines. She was even on the cover before she married Prince Harry.

Instagram

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex unfollowed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Instagram. According to them, they only followed the charities they supported. However, that was not the only issue royal fans noticed.

Prince Harry and Markle also posted a series of photos cropping Prince William and Middleton. When they greeted Prince Philip on his birthday, Prince Harry edited a photo with the Duke of Edinburgh and Duke of Cambridge, removing Prince William from the picture. They did the same on another photo where Middleton was with them.

Royal Babies

Prince Harry said that he only wanted two babies maximum due to climate change. Many took it as a dig at his brother and sister-in-law who have three kids. However, not everyone belives in Prince Harry.

“Meghan Markle is 37 and we know women’s fertility really goes down after the age of 35. So he could only say that they are having two kids because that might be the reality for them,” Emily O’Keefe commented on Prince Harry’s statement.
