Meghan Markle was upstaged by Beyoncé after Kate Middleton outshone her at Archie’s baptism.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the European premiere of “The Lion King” in London where they met Beyoncé and Jay Z. During their meeting, they appeared picture perfect, but there was reportedly tension behind the scenes.

According to Dan Wootton, executive editor of The Sun, Beyoncé upstaged Markle due to a wardrobe malfunction. The royal advisers were not happy when Jay-Z and Beyoncé arrived later than Prince Harry and Markle to the star-studded event.

Beyoncé reportedly didn’t mean to show up later than the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. In fact, she was getting ready at around 2 p.m. However, when she put on her daring designer dress, her team noticed that there was a rip.

Beyoncé insisted to stick with her gold gown, so her team had to find a matching thread. They were able to fix Beyoncé’s gown but as a result, she appeared on the red carpet 90 minutes late.

Beyoncé was smokin’ hot in her gown that some even described her as an actual goddess. Cosmopolitan said that the best look from the night went to Beyoncé.

Beyoncé’s stunning gold floor-length crimped dress featured an asymmetrical neckline with draped details and a sexy cutout in the bust area, revealing a flash of her cleavage. It also featured a sky-high slit riding all the way up to underneath her ribs.

A few weeks ago, Prince Harry and Markle held their son Archie’s baptism. Markle donned a white Dior gown for the event. However, Kate Middleton outshone Markle with her pink Stella McCartney dress that she paired with a fuchsia headband and matching red heels.

According to body language expert Judi James, Middleton was determined to not upstage Markle and Archie’s thunder. However, netizens noticed the royal mom of three more and couldn’t stop praising her for looking “beautiful,” “gorgeous,” and “perfect” for the event.
