Meghan Markle might give birth this week.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s firstborn is reportedly due this month. Betting odds suggest that it’s very likely for Markle to deliver her baby this week.

According to The Sun, the odds of Markle giving birth this week have been slashed to 2/1 making the next few days the most likely of all. The week after — from April 15 - 22 stands at 4/1. Meanwhile, the chances that Prince Harry and Markle’s baby would arrive in Prince Lou’s birthday week are at 4/1. The odds that baby Sussex will share Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday have dropped from 7/1 to 5/1.

“We’ve slashed the odds of Meghan and Harry’s first child to be born this week, as fans anticipate an April arrival,” a spokesperson for Paddy Power said.

“Who knows, the baby could even arrive as a perfect distraction to the UK’s latest Brexit departure date – Friday,” the spokesperson continued. “Meanwhile, it is now odds-on that they have a little girl, with Diana still rated the most-likely choice of name.”

As for the name of the baby, Prince William reportedly doesn’t like the idea of Prince Harry and Markle naming their baby after Princess Diana. The Duke of Cambridge also wanted to name his own daughter after the late Princess of Wales. However, he and Kate Middleton opted to name their only girl Charlotte and made “Diana” one of her middle names.

The Duke of Cambridge reportedly made the said move out of respect to their father as Prince Charles already has a new wife, Camilla Parker Bowles. According to an insider, Prince Harry picking “Diana” for his baby’s name would only fuel the flame of royal brother’s differences. It would only suggest that the Duke of Sussex doesn’t care what his older brother thinks.

In related news, Markle has reportedly snubbed Queen Elizabeth II’s doctors. However, her decision has only intensified the rumors that she’s faking her pregnancy.

According to one netizen, Markle wanted to deliver her baby by herself, so that there would be no witnesses. Some suggested that the duchess is wearing a moombump and has a surrogate.
