Meghan Markle is the victim of a series of vile comments and racist slurs that were posted on Kensington Palace’s official Instagram account.

Charlotte Wace, a journalist for Daily Mail, revealed that the negative comments were posted after the palace uploaded a video of Prince Harry and Markle in New Zealand.

One of the comments featured six knife emojis and the words, “Soon it will be me who is next to Harry and Megssy will be gone.” Other comments included a remark on Markle’s lighter skin tone, an accusation that she might have gotten bleached and claims that she is trashy and tacky.

Several royal fans have urged Instagram and Kensington Palace to take down the vicious comments about the Duchess of Sussex. Media lawyer Yari Cohen said that targeting the “Suits” alum via an official page could increase the severity of any possible offense because the people that posted the comments assume Markle will be able to read them.

In related news, Prince Harry and Markle reunited with Prince William and Kate Middleton this weekend amid reports that they will soon be going their separate ways, according to E! News.

The royal couples were present at the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday. The event commemorated those who lost their lives in conflicts and marked 100 years since the end of World War I.

Their sighting came just days after it was reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are contemplating on separating their lives and work from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge so that they can focus on their different responsibilities.

Prince Harry used to work closely with Prince William and Middleton when he was still single, but he’s now married to Markle and they can do a lot of things together. The royal couple is also expecting the arrival of their firstborn in the spring of 2019, and this will make them a complete family.
