Meghan Markle’s baby may be born on Easter Sunday, which is on April 21 this year.

The Duchess of Sussex is due to deliver her baby at the end of April or the beginning of May. If she does welcome her firstborn on April 21, her baby will also share the same birthday with Queen Elizabeth II.

Bookmakers Coral recently predicted the odds that Markle and Prince Harry’s baby will be born on Easter Sunday at 10-1. The odds have been slashed from 25-1 as Markle’s due date nears.

Carol Aitkenhead, a spokesperson for Coral, told Express, “With Meghan due towards the end of April, we could be heading for one of the more memorable Easter Sunday’s in the royal household. Now only would the baby be born on the holiday, it also would then share a birthday with the Queen.”

Unfortunately for royal fans, the actual date that Markle’s baby will be born will only be revealed hours after she gives birth. As of late, it is still unclear where the Duchess of Sussex will give birth but there are rumors suggesting that it won’t be at St. Mary’s Hospital’s Lindo Wing.

A source told The Sun that Markle will give birth close to their home in Windsor.

“This child will not be born at the Lindo. The talk of all the senior clinicians there is that Meghan doesn’t want to copy what Kate did… Harry and Meghan realize there is intense public interest but this baby is not a direct heir to the throne and they want the birth to be as private as possible,” the source said.

However, Markle, Prince Harry, or Kensington Palace have not yet confirmed whether or not these statements are true. It is also unclear whether or not Prince Harry and Markle will have a baby boy or a baby girl. Their child’s name has not been announced yet as of late.
