Another friend of Meghan Markle has expressed her joy and support for the actress' romance with Prince Harry.

On Friday, Sophie Ellis-Bextor opened up about her friendship with Prince Harry's girlfriend with Hello! at the Pinktober Ball at The Dorchester Hotel. According to the singer, she met the "Suits" star a "couple of years back" and considers Markle a "lovely girl."

"We met her a couple of years back and she said she really liked the song ['Murder on the Dance Floor'] and we sort of spent a weekend away at something together and she was really lovely," Ellis-Bextor told the outlet.

When asked about Markle and Prince Harry's high-profile romance, the singer confessed that she would be "very happy" to see the two tie the knot someday. "I'm always very happy when two people who are in love decide to get married, who doesn't love a happy, romantic wedding?" she gushed.

Meanwhile, an insider recently claimed that Prince Harry and Markle's wedding, if they do decide to tie the knot, may not be as grand as Prince William and Kate Middleton's lavish 2011 ceremony. Prince Harry reportedly wants a private and non-extravagant nuptials.

"Pomp and pageantry is the last thing he would want," a source told Us Weekly. "I can see him wanting to get married at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. It would stop it from turning into a total media circus and give the day a sense of privacy that Harry so badly craves."

Some royal experts also said Prince Harry and the "Horrible Bosses" star may choose to have a low-key wedding because Markle is a divorcee. Royals were initially prohibited from marrying divorcees. While this has changed over time, some are expecting Prince Harry to follow the footsteps of his father, Prince Charles, who married Camilla Parker-Bowles in a civil wedding ceremony.

"You wouldn't necessarily have a big grand ceremony, and it would be more like Charles and Camilla," Scott Peterson said.

"Meghan is, after all, a divorcee, so it would probably be a registry office ceremony with a church blessing afterwards," royal biographer Penny Junor told Town & Country (via Harper's Bazaar). "If it was to be in the UK, then I would guess that all senior members of the royal family would be there, but I don't think the Queen would go to the registry office."

Prince Harry and Markle are expected to announce their engagement in December. The actress is reportedly wrapping up filming USA Network's "Suits." An insider revealed that Markle has already decided to quit and drop her role in the hit TV show. She is also expected to move to London for good with her future husband.
