Melania Trump was called a racist birther by a journalist following hypocritical women’s day speech.

This week, the FLOTUS said that she’s proud of what the United States continues to do for women.

“I’m honored to represent a nation that not only recognizes women around the world who are making a difference internationally, but empowers and supports them in their endeavors so they can affect positive change for others. Throughout history, individuals who make the greatest impact and create the most change are all remembered for their acts of courage,” she said.

The FLOTUS went on to introduce the 12 women that have demonstrated exceptional courage and leadership during Wednesday’s ceremony. However, Political Flare journalist Andrea Jefferson accused the first lady of looking bored and of struggling to pronounce words while reading from the teleprompter.

Jefferson also accused Melania of being a birther just like her husband, which makes what she said inexcusable. On Twitter, some netizens also reacted to the FLOTUS’ Women’s Day speech.

“On the same morning Donald Trump tweets about Sen. Elizabeth Warren by using ‘Pocahontas’ as a racial slur, Melania Trump touts International Women's Day, singling out American women who play "vital roles in society" like working as ‘elected officials,’” journalist Oliver Willis wrote.

“I see Melania Trump is back in the news today! Any discussion of this woman should include this video, where she repeats her racist husband's idea that Obama wasn't born in the US. Melania is a birther. She also lied on her immigration application. Oh, she's a plagiarizer too! ” Twitter user @nicolejames wrote.

Other netizens slammed the first lady for her inability to speak in straight and proper English.

“She can barely speak English,” Twitter user @MrsHarperSC said.

“This illegal immigrant is a JOKE,” Twitter user @1953brenda said.

“Empty words, @FLOTUS. Your spouse proves that every single day. #BeBest,” Twitter user @HannaBec said.

“Speak English!” Twitter user @gastropoda said.
