  • Melania Trump was called "Rapunzel" by Secret Service agents because she stayed in the White House most of the time

  • One thing that kept Trump busy in the White House was her photo albums, which Grisham referred to as one of "her two children"

Melania Trump earned a moniker for rarely leaving the White House during her husband's term, according to a book.

Trump's former chief of staff, Stephanie Grisham, is releasing a book entitled "I'll Take Your Questions Now." In it, Grisham claims that the Secret Service agents nicknamed the former first lady "Rapunzel."

The agents allegedly used the moniker because just like the Disney princess who was trapped in a tower, Trump rarely left the White House. The agents would request to be placed on her details, so they could spend more time with their families, according to Grisham, The Washington Post reported.

When in the White House, Trump spent her time with her son, Barron, or her parents. She was busy working on her photo albums, which Grisham referred to as one of "her two children."

Grisham added that during the pandemic, the ex-FLOTUS spent two hours re-creating the ribbon-cutting for the White House tennis pavilion because she hadn't gotten the right shot weeks earlier. She was allegedly also working on a photo shoot of a rug during the Capitol riot.

Trump is not happy with Grisham's work as it tackles her anger concerning her husband's infidelities, her preference to travel comfortably and insecurities about her English accent. The former first lady already released a statement about Grisham's upcoming book, accusing the author of seeking popularity and money.

"The intent behind this book is obvious. It is an attempt to redeem herself after a poor performance as Press Secretary, failed personal relationships, and unprofessional behavior in the White House. Through mistruth and betrayal, she seeks to gain relevance and money at the expense of Mrs. Trump," the Office of Melania Trump said of Grisham's book in a statement to People.

Meanwhile, the Trumps moved to their Florida beach club, Mar-a-Lago, earlier this year after Donald Trump lost the election. The former first couple does not spend much of their time together and Michael Wolff, New York's bestselling author of "Landslide: The Final Days of the Trump Presidency" said nobody really knows where Trump lives.

"Nobody really knows where Melania lives," he told Daily Mail. "She is not with him a lot of the times. This was true when he was in the White House and it's true now. People around Trump still have questions, but they don't want to ask those questions. It remains the third rail that nobody wants to touch."

Grisham's "I'll Take Your Questions Now" will be released on Oct. 5.
