Melania Trump has been involved in several controversies since she assumed as the First Lady of the United States. Critics are fond of mocking the wife of President Donald Trump’s fashion choices and advocacies. Recently, “Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill lambasted Melania after she was booed in Baltimore on Tuesday.

Mark was quick to jump on the bandwagon when reports about Melania was met with a loud chorus of boos at the youth summit spread like wildfire on social media. The actor, who is best known for his portrayal as Luke Skywalker in the original “Star Wars” trilogy, made fun of the #BeBest campaign and called it #BooBest instead.

Netizens were quick to comment on Mark Hamill’s tweet, with some saying that it the best hashtag to describe Melania Trump’s campaign. “They were the best "Boos" the most boos ever, boos of love from fans of Melania. the Garbage they threw at her was the very best garbage and meant with the most respect,” a certain Dean Jones wrote.

“Such a beautiful hashtag, Mr. Hamill. It would be a shame if it didn't gain any traction...#BooBest,” Peter Savas said on Twitter. “Her ‘Be Best’ campaign would be taken more seriously if her husband wasn't the king of internet bullying....” Susan Clark Brogdon responded to Mark’s post.

When asked about the gaudy booing reception, Melania Trump said she respects other people’s opinions and assured that this will not hinder her to continue her causes. “We live in a democracy and everyone is entitled to their opinion...,” the FLOTUS said, through Anni Karni. “I remain committed to educating children on the dangers and deadly consequences of drug abuse,” she added.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Melania was criticized because of her #BeBest campaign. Critics claimed that the objectives of the cause are inconsistent with President Donald Trump’s behavior, especially when he attacked Ukrainian ambassador Marie Yovanovitch’s impeachment inquiry testimony earlier this month.

“Trump intimidates Marie Yovanovitch on Twitter and #HOTUS @FLOTUS is still running a sham #BeBest anti-bullying campaign,” one critic said. Others advised Melania Trump to act on the actions of her husband for it to succeed.
