Michelle Obama will appear as a guest on The Colbert Report on Wednesday, April 11. Comedy Central released a statement in which Stephen Colbert said he is honored that the first lady is joining us and I trust that the feeling is mutual.

The first lady has been appearing in a number of high-profile TV shows lately including The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Ellen and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. She will be appearing on Colbert's show tonight, during which she hopes to commemorate the one-year anniversary of her national initiative and project, Joining Forces- an organization that seeks to serve America's military families.
