Out of all the reasons to get a tattoo, singer and actress Miley Cyrus’ reason takes the cake.

As a tribute to her cover on the October issue of Rolling Stone magazine, the 20-year-old “Wrecking Ball” singer revealed her latest ink on Instagram Tuesday night, showing the words “Rolling” and “$tone” across the bottom of her feet. “#rattatatta @RollingStone,” wrote Cyrus, alongside a photo of her new ink, which she reportedly decided to get because she was “bored.”

According to a report from E! News, Cyrus brought along the magazine’s contributing editor, Josh Eells, for her tattoo adventure after an unsuccessful brainstorming session of “fun” things to do. “I thought about going to play laser tag, but laser tag sucks,” Cyrus told the magazine, adding, “And we could have gone bowling, but what are we, 90?”

While a surprising choice, getting inked isn’t a new pastime for Cyrus, whose latest addition will join 19 of other body art creations. Despite revealing she decided to permanently plaster the magazine’s name on her body because she was “bored,” Cyrus claims there are other more reckless things she could have done with her free time. “People do f**ked up s**t,” she said. “People get tattoos of the most f**ked up s**t.” According to Cyrus, her most recent inking was reminiscent of actor Stephen’s Baldwin’s alleged “HM” shoulder tattoo, which he reportedly told her was in honor of her child star character Hannah Montana.

The new body art come just one day after Cyrus’ cover for Rolling Stone was released. The image, which shows the Nashville native posing nude, rocking smudged eye makeup and licking her shoulder, created a predictable stir. The singer, no stranger to controversy in recent weeks, also made headlines for not only showing off her body but for also expressing her thoughts on Justin Bieber. “I do mentor him in a way. Because I've been doing this s**t for a long time,” said Cyrus who went on to call the “Baby” singer immature because of his gender. “I already transitioned, and I don't think he's quite done it yet,” she later added.

Cyrus is currently preparing for the debut of her third solo studio album, “Bangerz,” which will be released on Oct. 8. The longtime star will also take center stage again next month in the one-hour MTV documentary “Miley: The Movement,” chronicling her latest, infamous MTV Video Music Awards performance and her venture into becoming an adult musical artist. “Miley: The Movement” airs Oct. 2 on MTV at 10 p.m. EDT.
