Miley Cyrus Twiter Pics: ‘We Can’t Stop’ Star Announces 'BANGERZ' Release Date For Oct. 8 [PHOTOS]
Miley Cyrus doing something outlandish is just becoming expected of her. The former Disney star took to her Twitter account on to post some provocative photos to make sure she can never be confused with Hannah Montana ever again and then shared the release date for her anticipated new album "BANGERZ."
The 20-year-old recently got together with photographer Terry Woods for her “couture classy” shoot with Harpers Bazaar, she wrote Tuesday. She rocked her now-signature edgy blonde cut with a light eye makeup and vibrant lipstick. The pop star donned a simple white top with a black bra and jeans.
In one of the photos she puffed on a cigarette, because what could be more rebellious than that? In another semi-controversial image she grabbed her crotch and in a different one she showed off her playfulness with a bunch of silly photos compiled together. One of the first images shows Cyrus with Woods.
The star, who is engaged to "The Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth, is eagerly waiting for her new album “BANGERZ” to drop on Oct. 8, and tweeted about it several times on Wednesday:

Cyrus recently spoke out on social media against people who took racial jabs at her, according to New York Daily News. "I know what color my skin is. You can stop with the friendly reminders b---h," she wrote Monday, but didn’t say who it was directed at. She also added a lyric from her hit “We Can’t Stop,” #itsmymouthicansaywhatiwantto.
Not everyone is a fan of her new look, which includes an edgier wardrobe and a blonde pixie cut. "People have this misconception of me that I'm just one of these kids on TV and that now I go off and party and I'm just this ratchet white girl, and I'm not," she said about her reputation to Notion Magazine, according to the New York Daily News.
