Greensboro, North Carolina, police issued an amber alert for a 3-year-old girl in an alleged abduction from a park.

Ahlora Ashanti Sample Lindiment, 3, reportedly was abducted about 6:30 p.m. by an unidentified woman. Police scoured the area for any sign of the girl or her alleged abductor.

“Investigators with the Greensboro Police Department, the Guilford County Sheriff's Office, and the FBI will be canvassing the neighborhood where Ahlora was last seen to speak to anyone who may have information to help find her,” the department said in a Facebook post Thursday.

The department also shared a picture of the woman they want to question in the disappearance.

“We want to identify and speak with her about any information or insight she may have,” police spokesman Ronald Glenn told reporters.

She was described as a black woman in her 20s, about 5-foot-6, and 135 pounds. At the time, she was seen wearing black crop top, leggings with tiger face print, flip flops and a gold chain.

“Even if you don't want to be known, or you don't want to have your name or anything to do with it, you can always leave an anonymous tip,” the girl's mother, Erica Lindiment, told the Durham ABC-affiliate, WTVD.

Greensboro police are encouraging anyone with information to contact authorities.
