Spring is finally here and that means it’s time for Hollywood to begin putting out some of its better films. While the winter months can be slow at theaters — usually reserved for horror films — this April sees a mix of comedy, drama and action.

Chris Evans’ “Gifted” will be one of the first big films of the month with a limited release on April 7, while “Fast and Furious” fans will get the series’ eighth installment with “The Fate of the Furious” on April 14. If you find yourself able to take a spring break, check out these seven movies you should see next month.

“Smurfs: The Lost Village” – April 3

Considered to be a reboot of the Smurfs film franchise, the upcoming film is not related to the previous two Smurf films and is completely animated. “The Lost City Of Z” – April 14
