Mr. T, the television star who gained fame in the 1980s, was a trending topic Saturday on Twitter after he announced he received a booster vaccination shot.

Mr. T took Twitter to note that he is not in pain but just a little sore. He posted a reference to his famous catchphrase, "I pity the fool," with the comment: "I Pity Pain!" He thanked doctors and nurses involved with vaccinations.

"I am Blessed and I am Thankful. I just got my Booster Vaccination shot. My arm is a little sore but no pain. I Pity Pain! Thanks again to all the Doctors and Nurses…," Mr. T posted.

"Even though I am fully vaccinated, I will still wear my mask and keep my distance, thank you. #SaturdayThoughts," he added in another tweet.

The 69-year-old's tweet caught the attention of many, as his name started to trend on Twitter after being on low radar for years. Among those who tweeted support were former CBS News anchor Dan Rather, actor Mark Ruffalo, and author Don Winslow.

Mr. T, whose real name is Laurence Tureaud, appeared on the 1980s television series, "The A-Team." He also played boxer Clubber Lang in the 1982 film "Rocky III."
