The stars were out and about in Canada over the weekend to attend the 2017 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards. However, before heading into the MuchMusic HQ venue in Toronto, celebrities hit the red carpet where they made epic fashion statements.

Disney star Dove Cameron was all about florals when she hit the red carpet on Sunday. The actress, who attended the ceremony as a presenter, wore a Vivetta dress paired with Gucci shoes and an Olympia Le Tan bag.

Aside from her red carpet win, the 21-year-old has an exciting summer ahead. In July, Cameron will star in the Disney Channel sequel “Descendants 2.” In the television movie, the actress will reprise her role as Mal, who will juggle between her attempt to be good and the urge to be bad.

Shay Mitchell also attended the MMVAs in a sheer all-white August Getty Atelier jumpsuit. Under the ensemble, the actress wore a Flynn Skye bodysuit and finished her look off with a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes and a clutch.

The 30-year-old’s long-running Freeform series “Pretty Little Liars” will air it’s final two episodes this month, ending the series after seven seasons. Although the show is coming to a close, Mitchell has plenty more to come career wise. The actress has landed several movie roles and continues to upload videos on her popular YouTube channel.

Keke Palmer, who was a presenter for the night, opted for a sexy little black dress for her MuchMusic Video Awards red carpet look. While this outfit could have been a simple fashion choice, Palmer’s new hairdo gave her look some variety.

The 23-year-old recently made the decision to shave her head and has been spotted changing up the colors on her buzzcut. For the MMVAs, the star decided to color her hair purple, which perfectly matched her choice of lipstick for the night.

Palmer told Refinery29 that her choice to shave her head was based on self-expression. “I’m in a place in my life where I realized I don’t have anything stopping me from expressing myself in any facet, and that makes me happy,” she explained.

“My texture has changed quite a bit over the years from all the things I’ve done to it. I really want to be able to let my hair rest and become its own thing,” she added.

Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella, who attended the award show as a presenter, went with a sexy red carpet look. The “Total Divas” star wore a black dress with gold embellishments which featured a plunging neckline and a risqué split.

The WWE star, who is in the middle of planning her wedding to fellow wrestler John Cena, flashed her gorgeous engagement ring on the red carpet. In May, the star told People that although wedding planning is going slow, she is looking forward to the day when she and her fiance celebrate their union.

“I want the day we get married to be special, not like it’s another appearance,” she told the publication. “I don’t want it to be like, ‘We only have two days to do this.’ I want to enjoy it. I want to enjoy it in the weeks going into it and also the weeks after,” Bella added.

The wrestler wasn’t the only one who made a statement on the red carpet over the weekend. Take a look at some of the best dressed celebrities at the 2017 MMVAs below:
