What Francis and Nathaniel Keiling did became the true definition of a father and son bonding gone bad when the two were arrested over serious sexual charges, including incest.

Francis, 73, and his his son, Nathaniel, 38, were apprehended by authorities months apart from each other after one of their victims gathered enough courage and exposed their lascivious acts that spanned over 10 years.

The sexual spree started in late 2007 and went on until September of 2017 and involved two teenage females, said WVVA.

It added that court documents suggested that one of the victims came forward and talked to the police after the elder Keiling raped her three times in 24 hours. The abuse happened in May of this year, in the basement of St. Francis de Sales Church in Berkeley, West Virginia.

She also claimed that she was forced to share a small hospital bed with Francis for fear that he would still “follow her and get into her bed” if she slept alone.

Francis was arrested on August 25 and was charged with 52 counts of first-degree sexual assault, incest and sexual assault by a parent or guardian.

Nathaniel, meanwhile, was taken into custody on October 21 and was slapped with 20 counts of each of the same offenses, said The Sun.

Investigations on the alleged sexual abuse have yet to reveal the “exact familial connection” between the victims and the two Keilings.

Records revealed that Francis has a criminal record in Florida and was arrested in 2000 for domestic violence. Nathaniel was also detained in 2001 over the same charges.

Both men are being held at Southern Regional Jail on a $100,000 cash only bond.

In response to the alleged crime that happened inside his church, Father Paul Wharton issued a statement Monday, saying that the Wheeling-Charleston Diocese was “deeply saddened” to learn about the abuse.

“Although one of the instances of alleged abuse purportedly occurred on church property, at no time was Francis Keiling an employee or volunteer at either St. Francis de Sales Parish or School in Berkeley.”

Francis Keiling's Facebook profile also suggested that he has three adult children and three grandchildren as well.
