At Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona, TCL unveiled five new smartphones to its lineup of TCL 30 smartphones including TCL 30 5G, TCL 30+, TCL 30, TCL 30 SE, and TCL 30 E.

Four of the phones added to the TCL 30 lineup will feature “a 50MP AI triple camera.” TCL 30 E has a dual camera with a 50MP main lens. They all come with features like Steady Snap, which slows time and better captures objects in motion, and “Intelligent AI detection,” which can detect up to “22 different scenes.”

Additional features include “AI HDR video,” which adjusts exposure to optimize detailed viewing, “Low Light HDR” to better capture photos in low light settings, and “One Shot,” which allows for “different image types from one snap.” The phones also come with provisions to manage eye fatigue.

“All TCL 30 Series smartphones are equipped with TCL’s pioneering NXTVISION technology, which works to boost the screen experience while safeguarding eyes,” according to a press release.

The TCL 30 5G, TCL 30+, and TCL 30 come with long-lasting battery power due to “AI smart charging.” It allows the phones to adapt the battery life and usage to the user, including monitoring a user’s typical sleep patterns and charging routines.

Some of the phones in the lineup are expected to be unveiled in Europe in April. Prices vary by country of purchase.

TCL Electronics is a Chinese company headquartered in Hong Kong. The company describes itself as “one of the world's fastest-growing consumer electronics companies and one of the world's leading television and mobile device manufacturers.”
