Twitter user redandblonde420 shared the translated summary for "My Hero Academia" Chapter 302. It begins with Enji telling Rei to keep Shoto away from other children. He is worried after Toya almost burned Shoto alive.

He plans to hire a person to watch the kids as he remains busy with hero work. Enji tells Rei to never let Toya out of sight. Rei counters him by saying he should look at Toya but Enji feels he can only show him the hero world. Rei feels her husband is running away from problems.

The scene changes to Fuyumi and Natsuo calling Toya to play with them. Shoto looks at the kids from a distance, he even asks Enji if he could join his siblings. But Enji declines and Toya looks at Enji and Shoto with malicious eyes.

In "My Hero Academia" Chapter 302, Toya tells Natsuo about how his father is responsible for the recent attack on Shoto. Natsuo is tired and tells him to talk to Fuyumi. Toya feels offended as he thought Natsuo is the only one in the family who understands his pain.

Toya wants to train and Rei wants him to play with his friends. However, Toya feels his friends are from a different world. Rei advises if he really wants to be a hero, he must look beyond the hero world and explore other things. She wants him to experience the real world and shape his personality.

Toya is angry at Rei and yells at her. He even mocks her and asks if she has been reading any self-help books lately.

The chapter further showcases Toya's birth story and how emotions play a role in transforming his fire from red to blue.

He wants to show Enji his newly-acquired skill. Toya invites Shoto to his training hideout and Enji learns he has been secretly training. Toya wants him to accept that he was right for creating him.

Later, the chapter shifts to the present timeline as Enji and Rei remember the day when he didn't turn up to see Toya train.

Elsewhere, Dabi recalls how he died of getting burned by his own fire when Enji decided to ignore his invitation.

Meanwhile, the family members seem to blame each other and also reflect on their actions. Natsuo feels Enji was wrong but also blames himself for not helping Toya. He feels if he would have intervened, Toya wouldn't have become Dabi.

Toward the end of the chapter, Enji wants Shoto to get ready as they need to stop Dabi together.
