A new arc begins putting the spotlight on the villains. The My Villain Academia arc brings Shigaraki and the League of Villains at the forefront in "My Hero Academia" Season 5, Episode 20 (Episode 108).

The promo trailer for Episode 20 shows Gigantomachia appearing before the League of Villains to find out if Shigaraki is a worthy successor.

The villains have gathered and started their training before facing the heroes.

The official "My Hero Academia" website has shared the description of the upcoming arc. Twitter user Atsushi shared the translation of the description.

“Instead of focusing on Deku and the others, Shigaraki and the League of Villains will take a leading role and become the center of the story,” read the description of My Villian Academia arc.

To commemorate the new arc, the official website also published a comment from Kouki Uchiyama, who is voicing Shigaraki.

“When the MHA anime had just started, I jokingly asked everyone to ‘cheer for the villains, because they are giving their all to destroy all the heroes’, but I never imagined they would receive such an amazing arc for themselves,” Kouki said.

The voice actor shared the mysteries surrounding Shigaraki will be revealed in the new My Villain Academia arc.

Earlier, the official Twitter handle of "My Hero Academia" shared a new visual to celebrate the beginning of the arc revolving around the villains.

The cast of "My Hero Academia" anime includes Daiki Yamashita as Izuku Midoriya, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Katsuki Bakugou, Yuuki Kaji as Shoto Todoroki, Daichi Endō as Twice, Aoi Yūki as Tsuyu Asui, Eri Kitamura as Mina Ashido, Hiro Shimono as Dabi, Hiroshi Kamiya as Kojiro Bondo, Hiroyuki Yoshino as Present Mic, Kenta Miyake as All Might, Kouki Uchiyama as Tomura Shigaraki, Hitomi Nabatame as Setsuna Tokage, Kosuke Miyoshi as Mashirao Ojiro, Misato Fukuen as Himiko Toga, Tsuguo Mogami as Mr. Compress, Yūichi Nakamura as Hawks and Yūki Shin as Natsuo Todoroki.
