National Lazy Mom's Day is marked annually on the first Friday of September and this year it falls on Sept. 3. Mothers – working or stay at home – often have a busy work schedule but occasionally they too need some time to recharge.

On this day, moms are encouraged to relax, take a back seat and simply be lazy.
