Following the release of the highly-anticipated BTS-inspired webtoon “7Fates: CHAKHO” last week, Naver Webtoon announced the upcoming release of its soundtrack. The news sent BTS fans flooding Twitter with messages of anticipation for the new musical project by the Korean supergroup.

As part of its release, Naver Webtoon also announced a giveaway to further drum up interest on BTS’ fourth webtoon following “Save Me” and “Smeraldo Books” in 2019, and “Hip Hop Monster” and “WE ON: BE THE SHIELD” in 2014.

User @BTSCHARTSDAILY7 tweeted the official announcement of Naver Webtoon regarding the release of the new webtoon’s soundtrack.

“According to Naver Webtoon, #7FATES_CHAKHO will have an OST ALBUM – Naver Webtoon will have an event period to win several prizes including an OST album during: 1/15 (Sat) ~ 2/5 (Sat) and the announcement of winners will be on 2/9 (Wed), this event will only be available for Korea,” the tweet said.

The announcement sent BTS fans, known as ARMY, to post trending messages pertaining to their excitement for the popular boyband’s new musical project. The septet released their last OST album in June 2019 for the Netmarble game “BTS World” which included fan favorites “Heartbeat” and “Dream Glow.”

User @lijiminvert said, “CHAKHO having an OST album is truly the best thing ever… bts world is finally getting a sister .”

Another fan anticipated the huge sale turnout of the upcoming OST album saying, “girl from the bangers we got from the bts world album i just know that 7 fates album about to outsell like are you kidding me rn????? .”

User @BTSoriented also could not contain their excitement for the new OST album. “Their last OST album, BTS World's Soundtrack, is probably one of their best body of work. Hits after hits. I am so so excited om*g.... ,” they said.

BTS recently gave fans a peek into their characters in the webtoon where they play monster hunters in the city of “Sin-Si.”

BTS’ leader and rapper RM described his character "Do Geon" as a crime expert who has survived various trials in life. “At first, he refuses to join the CHAKHO team but for some reason, as he keeps running into them, he starts thinking that maybe it’s his fate to become partners with them,” RM said.
