LeBron James Jr. and LaMelo Ball are both showing signs of wanting to be the next Stephen Curry.

A few years ago, Lonzo Ball’s younger brother and NBA prospect LaMelo has been frequently compared to the Golden State Warriors's Curry.

The younger Ball seemed to resemble Curry’s style in some of his basketball games. In fact, Ball even hit a half-court shot during an actual basketball game, a type of play, Curry has become famous for in the past.

Last year, a video mix was uploaded on YouTube highlighting the significant resemblance of Ball’s skills to the Warriors star.

And just recently, “Bronny” James Jr., son of NBA superstar LeBron James has hinted at his desire to also be the future Curry of the NBA.

Yes, the people heard it right. James Jr. did not shout his father’s name after hitting a long-range jumper from the bench, instead the young James yelled “Steph” the name of his father’s rival.

James Jr. already shocked the fans by draining the shot sitting down the sidelines. But what was more shocking was the gesture that he made after it.

In the short video clip posted by Ballislife.com, James Jr. can be seen mimicking one of Curry’s in-game rituals after hitting baskets. Curry has popularized the gesture of beating his chest and pointing upwards during NBA games and apparently, this was the exact impression James Jr. did after he made the spectacular shot.

Some could think that it is too early to jump into conclusions that LeBron’s son would want to be the next Curry instead of following his own footsteps. However, from what James Jr. jus did, it is a bit certain that he left spectators thinking if he would play like LeBron or Curry should he successfully make it to the NBA in the future.

As per LeBron, he is really rooting for his son to play in the NBA five to six years from now. In an interview with Tim Ferris last November, The King expressed his desires to be able to share the basketball court with his son in the NBA.

"I would love to see the floor with my son. My son is in the eighth grade now, if he continues on the path that he's on right now, he could possibly be in the NBA in five or six years. That would be an unbelievable moment not only for myself but for my family, for everybody. So we'll see. Obviously taking care of the body is number one, and we'll continue to do that," James stated.
