Tacko Fall was one of the Las Vegas Summer League's most intriguing players. The 7-foot-7 center from UCF averaged 7.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks while converting a respectable 77.3 percent from the field.

On July 11, Fall recorded his best game against Memphis by scoring 12 points, on a 6-of-8 shooting clip that came along with eight rebounds. He also had two doubles-double games as in the summer tournament.

On Thursday, the Boston Celtics announced that they have officially signed the 23-year-old center from Senegal along with three other players.

Celtics president Danny Ainge has earlier said that the center is a "fun player" to watch. He added that Tacko grabs the ball in the post and "makes tip-toe dunks from under the basket."

In several highlight videos, the center makes other players look like 4th graders with his 8-foot-4 wingspan. According to Boston Globe columnist Adam Himmelsbach, the Senegalese center signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the NBA organization.

Even celebrities are amazed by the 23-year-old player. Recently comedian Norm Macdonald posted a Twitter shout-out to honor the lengthy center. He said that Fall's summer league games were "fantastic." He added that he is thrilled to meet the 7-foot-7 center, and if there's "anything you need next time you're in the neighborhood, let me know."

Elhadji Tacko Sereigne Diop Fall was born on December 10, 1995, and was raised in Dakar, Senegal. At the age of 16, he transferred to the USA to play for the University of Central Florida Knights.

He went undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft but was later signed by the Boston Celtics due to his incredible size and mobility.

This summer, the Celtics have lost Al Horford, Aron Baynes and Marcus Morris to free agency. To compensate for the loss, Boston signed Enes Kanter to a $10 million two-year deal with the addition of Tacko Fall.

The organization also added guards, Tremont Waters, Max Strus and Javonte Green. Green sizzled the Las Vegas Summer League with his athleticism and defensive prowess.

Green averaged 10.8 points and 4.8 rebounds during his stint with the team and was a key outside defender during their games. Danny Ainge said that the 26-year-old guard played "really well" for Boston this summer. He added that he has "proven he can find a good role in the NBA."

The Celtics will enter the season without All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving. Irving left the team after he decided to join forces with Kevin Durant in Brooklyn. To take his place, Boston acquired Kemba Walker from the Charlotte Hornets via sign and trade.
