Tech giant Apple will have its first big product event of 2022 on Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET.

The Cupertino, California-based company is expected to unveil products like 5G phones, an iPad Air, new MacBook laptops and desktops, and perhaps new Apple TV shows.

The event comes a day after the birthday of Apple's innovative founder Steve Jobs. In 2011, Jobs died of pancreatic cancer.

The tagline for Tuesday's event is “peek performance.”

The event comes after Apple reported record revenue in January. The company recently announced it would stop selling products in Russia amid the war in Ukraine, and as many other tech companies have followed suit.

There is still a lot of speculation about products that will be unveiled at the event including what they will look like and which features they will include. Products expected to be unveiled are the iPhone SE 3 with 5G, a third-generation iPhone SE that is supposed to be more budget-friendly than the 2020 model.

An update to the iPad Air is also expected to be unveiled at the event, though not many changes are expected to the design and features. It will likely have an added 5G option.

A MacBook Air is expected to be updated at this event as well, which will likely include improved screens and cameras. MacBook desktops are also expected to be updated with new features and abilities.

It is also expected that Apple will announce new TV shows and movies that will go up on its Apple TV plus platform. The live stream of the event will start at 1 p.m. ET and be streamed on Apple’s website, YouTube, and the rest of Apple’s social media platforms.
