Japanese automaker Nissan is getting a new addition this year. At the recent Texas State Fair event, the company revealed its new latest salvo in the hotly lucrative pickup truck market: the all-new Nissan Titan 2020.

The new Nissan Titan 2020, according to reports, brings a completely new version of a full-size Nissan truck, refined, updated design of the previous version of Nissan pickup truck. The new vehicle’s style is no dramatically different from the previous Nissan model, but it’s easy to spot new features and additions, like the improved LED taillights and tailgate finishes. Nissan has added a new lighting system at the tailgate. The new lighting system uses four LED light sources to cover a much larger space. There’s not much information about the car’s powertrain, speed and acceleration. However, Nissan said, in a recent press interview, that the new vehicle will be slightly much faster.

As expected by many, this new pickup truck brings more features than the previous version, like the highly innovative Nissan Safety Shield 360 System, a suite of driver assistance and safety features. This state-of-the-art technology system brings blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, high-beam assist, rear automatic braking, traffic sign recognition, rear door alert, and driver alertness system. There’s also a new adaptive cruise control technology and an emergency braking with pedestrian control features.

Not just that, the truck’s digital system is also getting a boost. There are an 8-inch touchscreen and a 9-inch digital screen with a Wi-Fi connection. All of those digital displays will be powered by Nissan Connect infotainment technology. Also present in the new Nissan Titan 2020 is the 12-speaker Fender Audio system and 7-inch customizable driver information display. The new vehicle also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto technologies.

To aid agility, Nissan has added an improved four-wheel-drive system, which brings an electronic-locking rear end, a low-range transfer case and a hill-descent control system. The new pickup truck uses data from an accelerometer.

As for the pricing, the company has not yet released any information about pricing and released date. The Nissan Titan 2020 is expected to hit the truck market by next year.
