Japanese gaming giant Nintendo hosted the Nintendo Direct event at E3 2021 last June and it might hold another one in September, according to a recent leak.

Industry insider SamusHunter, known for its impressively accurate track record about Nintendo-related information, on Wednesday shared interesting details about the next big event the Japanese gaming giant is reportedly planning. According to the insider, a new Nintendo Direct event would happen in September and it would take place at around the same time as the launch of "WarioWare: Get It Together."

In a series of follow-up tweets, the insider claimed the focus of the upcoming Nintendo Direct event will be "titles for 2021 and early 2022."

"Bayonetta 3, which I've already mentioned, should also be in a similar situation. There are other titles well underway as well, but those are planned at a generic 2022 or later," SamusHunter tweeted.

The insider also noted that the supposed Nintendo Direct event would include announcements related to "Metroid Dread." Games like "Mario Party" and "Advance Wars" would reportedly have sections at the event where the developer would talk about some of the titles' new features. Major updates for "Animal Crossing," the reveal of a new character in "Smash" and the "Hyrule Warriors" DLC with a new story might also take place at the presentation.

Aside from those, third-party titles would reportedly have a presence at the Nintendo Direct event in September.

"Third parties will also play an important role, Capcom has to reveal a Resident Evil for the Switch," the insider said, adding that marketing for "Splatoon 3" might start at "around that time."

Unfortunately, details about "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2" might not be revealed at the event. The inside, however, said there might be an announcement that fans would hear more about it in the coming months and clarified that "at the moment the new announcements are my guess from some of the data in my possession."
