Nicole Kidman stuns as she poses in front of Australia’s famous Ayers Rock, also known as Uluru, for the latest edition of Vogue Australia. The high-fashion shoot for the September issue of the magazine sees the 48-year-old actress in competition from the natural wonder.

The photoshoot for Vogue Australia marks the 30th anniversary of the handing back of Uluru National Park to the indigenous Anangu people. Speaking about the stunning backdrop, Nicole said: “I’m enraptured by it.” The September issue of Vogue Australia hit newsstands on Monday, Mirror UK reported.

The Hollywood star channels rustic glamour on the cover and appears to be wiping sweat off her brow. Nicole is pictured wearing a low-cut white camisole, paired with a caramel suede shirt, that has been left unbuttoned. The shoot was styled by Vogue Australia fashion director Christine Centenera and was shot during winter.

The actress stares at the camera in a steely gaze. Her blue eyes add a contrast to her outfit and the background. Her makeup is flawless with a hint of bronzer on her porcelain skin. Kidman accessorized her look with two delicate gold necklaces, while the rest of her look is kept understated.

For the inside spread of the magazine, the cover girl wore a risqué ensemble, while kneeling down on one knee. Her outfit consisted of a black full-length skirt and a brown suede top. The form-fitting top showed off her slim figure.

It also featured high neck and long sleeves, with cut-out detailing on both the sides. It was embellished with a leather belt. Kidman paired her look with an iconic Akurbra hat. The wide-brimmed hat featured a leather belt around the body and resembled the Vivienne Westwood hats Pharrell Williams has made famous. From beneath the hat, her long curly strawberry blonde hair was seen.

Fashion designer Marc Jacobs came to Kidman’s defense last month when she was accused of looking “miserable and over airbrushed” on the cover of Vogue, wearing his ensemble. “All you haters... When were you last given a cover of Vogue? Damn people have a lot of negative energy..!!” he tweeted.
