It’s time to pay tribute to nurses. Starting May 6 and running through May 12, dozens of U.S. retailers and restaurants nationwide will be celebrating National Nurses Week 2017 in the U.S. by giving away big discounts and freebies.

Unfortunately for nurses looking to get a free chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A as in previous years, the chain confirmed to International Business Times that they “do not have any promotions planned chainwide” in 2017.

Cinnabon

From May 6-12, healthcare professional can get a free treat from Cinnabon. Consumers will have a choice of a free classic roll, a MiniBon or a four-piece BonBites. A medical ID badge must be presented in order to redeem this freebie.

Cinnabon has been participating in the appreciation week since 2000 in support of The DAISY (Diseases Attacking the Immune System) Foundation and as a way to thank nurses.

“Nurses dedicate their lives to others every day. Providing Cinnabon treats is one small way that we can give thanks to those that give to others,” Joe Guith, President of Cinnabon, said in a press release. “Seventeen years and over a million cinnamon rolls later, we couldn’t be more proud to support healthcare professionals during Nurses Week and throughout the year.”

Starbucks

It’s not specifically a Nurses Week deal, but healthcare providers can get a heavily discounted caffeine kick over the next several days. Starbucks is bringing back their half-price Frappuccino Hour starting Friday and running through May 14. The deal is valid for purchases made between 3-6 p.m. at participating stores. Some tasty drinks included in the offer are Campfire Feels, a S’mores inspired beverage, Caramel Frappuccino, Strawberries and Creme and many more.

PDQ

Enjoy a heavily discounted meal at PDQ, the fresh and fast comfort food chain. Both nurses and teachers can enjoy 50 percent off their entire purchase all day long on May 9.

“Teachers and Nurses do so much in our communities and made such an impact on all of us everyday,” the restaurant said of the promotion. “Thank you for your hard work and dedication to our communities!”

You will need your valid nurse ID to redeem this offer. PDQ Clermont is not participating in the deal. Find a location nearest to you here.

Disney Hotels

Enjoy some magic at a discounted rate. Walt Disney World’s Swan and Dolphin resort offers discounts for nurses as well as educators, U.S. government and military workers. Make sure to mention you’re a nurse while booking in order to get a cheaper rate. Call 1-888-828-8850 for more information and inquire about the “nurses rate.”

You must show proof of employment upon check-in. Rates are per room, per night and are based on availability. Daily parking fees, taxes and gratituites are not included. This offer cannot be combined with other Disney promotions, for groups or for existing reservations.

“In appreciation for all that you do, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort would like to offer you a very special room rate for your next vacation to the most magical place in the world,” Disney said of the offer.
