‘One Piece’ 991 Spoilers: Oden's Scabbard Did Something To Kaido That Luffy Couldn't

"One Piece" Chapter 991 would reportedly show how one of Oden's trusted men doing something against Kaido that even Luffy could not do.

Reddit user cameformystrawhat shared the latest set of spoilers for "One Piece" Chapter 991. Based on the spoiler, Foxfire Kinemon was able to cut Kaido's Blast Breath attack. While the spoilers do not share a lot of details, Kinemon's brave act is a glimmer of hope for Minks-Ninja-Pirate alliance's fans.

Kaido is revered as the strongest creature on the planet and feared by many because of this. Luffy was not able to defeat him during their first fight considering that the yonko was drunk during that time. Kaido has a wide range of powerful attacks and one these is the Blast Breath.

This particular attack allows Kaido to release a massive blast from his mouth and since he is a dragon, this blast is scorching. The Breathing Blast attack travels fast and could decimate huge structures. Fans saw this attack at work when Kaido targeted the Oden Castle.

The wake of the attack left the ruins, surrounding terrain like mountainscapes scorched, flattened and shattered. Interestingly, this powerful attack was apparently cut by no other than the leader of the Akazaya Nine, Kinemon. Oden's trusted follower is one of the most powerful Samurais in the Land of Wano.

Orochi regards him as an incredibly strong master in terms of swordsmanship. Kinemon specializes in a sword style called Kitsunebi-Ryu, which literally means Foxfire. This ability allows Kinemon to generate, attack and fire using his sword.

This technique also enables him to cut through highly flammable Smiley's pieces. Kinemon's fire enhanced sword cuts through steel. Interestingly, when fuel with rage, his Haki-infused sword would pierce Kaido's invulnerable scaly body.

Given these facts, it is not impossible that Kinemon could easily cut Kaido's Breathing Blast or Bolo Blast. It is interesting to see how Kinemon would fight Kaido in "One Piece" Chapter 991 and in the succeeding chapters of the manga. "One Piece Chapter 991 is scheduled to arrive on September 28. The upcoming chapter is titled "Let me Die!"
