“One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows” is bringing in a new DLC fighter this April 9.

In an announcement on its website, Bandai Namco unveiled that they will be adding the popular character Suiryu as its latest fighter in the “One Punch Man” game. His character pack also includes new customization items, special moves and missions

While Suiryu is available on season pass, he can also be purchased individually. In their description, Bandai Namco described the character as a carefree but strong “martial arts prodigy” who has a mastery of the “void fist.”

“Suiryu is a young man who has immense strength, speed, reflexes, and durability. During the Super Fight Tournament, Suiryu defeated two A-class heroes and has displayed the strength and fighting abilities liked to an S-class Hero,” the character description reads.

“Suiryu’s Void Fist focuses on maximizing damage output and keeping a consistent flow of damage, making him a formidable opponent!”

For those who are not familiar with the character, Suiryu appeared in the martial arts tournament in the popular “One Punch Man” manga and anime adaptation. He is known for searching strong opponents and proving his strength against them. He faced Saitama in the final match of said martial arts tournament.

On the other hand, a teaser for Suiryu was also released in time for his addition to the game. In the video, he can be seen fighting Saitama and using one of his ultimate moves called “Dark Body Phoenix Rising Fist (also known as the Void Phoenix Ascension Fist).

Moreover, as part of a free update in the game, players will be able to play on and enjoy a new stage called “the Super Fight tournament arena.”

“One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows” is Bandai Namco’s latest fighting video game released over a month ago in late February. Developed by Spike Chunsoft, it is growing in popularity in recent weeks for its over-the-top battles and customization that makes for good entertainment.

However, it is not without flaws, as reviews in different publications criticize the game for its repetitive quest and lack of variety in fighting.

The game is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
