Mexican boxing superstar Erik Morales predicts Manny Pacquiao will knock Keith Thurman out in 10th round.

Just a few days ago, Pacquiao’s trusted trainer Freddie Roach shared a very strong statement about how the Filipino legend would like to win against WBA champ Keith Thurman.

Roach is pretty sure that Pacman will push hard for a knockout win as the boxing icon is “hungry for a knockout” and has never KO’d a guy since he moved up to 147.

And now, in a recent interview with EsNews, former boxing world champion Erik Morales made a bold prediction about the Pacquiao-Thurman fight. Morales picks his former rival Manny Pacquaio to win against the younger fighter Thurman.

The 42-year-old retired boxer was with his son and a couple of friends when he was asked about the much anticipated superfight. Morales spoke in Spanish as his son translated it to English and said that Pacquiao is a great fighter as well as Thurman, but the younger fighter is no match for the legend in terms of ring experience.

Being one of the few fighters to beat Paquiao, Morales is certain that the fight will be easy fight for Pacman.

When asked about how he was able to beat the eight-division title holder, Morales explained that he utilized angles and caused Pacquiao some serious trouble by always going to the left.

After commending Pacquiao’s skills, Morales was asked directly who he thinks will win the fight. El Terrible quickly answered Manny Pacquiao. Predicting the outcome of the fight, the legend said Manny will probably knock Thurman out in the “10th round”.

Amir Khan, a former world champion, also hopes Pacman will win to increase the chances of him and Pacquiao facing each other inside the ring, Boxing Scene reported.

"End of this year, early next year, I want to make a big name world title challenge and there’s a strong possibility it could be here in Saudi Arabia against Pacquiao," Khan said.

"Hopefully, Manny beats up Keith Thurman the week after my fight and we’ll see what happens. A fight between us would set-up boxing in the Middle East forever and lead to multiple championship fights taking place in the region. I intend being at the forefront,” Khan added.
