Parents Of Slain Kevin Bacon Publicly Denounce His Killing

The parents of slain Michigan resident Kevin Bacon whose testicles were allegedly consumed after being mutilated by a Grindr date, have publicly denounced the evil way his life ended.

Karl Bacon, the hairdresser's father, stated evil does exist, and it has touched them.

Bacon's body was found on December 28th, hanging by the ankles from the ceiling at the Bennington Township home of the man he had gone on a date with on Christmas Eve.

Mark Latunski admitted to the police he did kill Bacon by stabbing Bacon in the back and slit his throat. He proceeded to cut off his testicles and consume them according to the police report.

Latunski is currently in custody without a bond. He was due to go to court on Wednesday for a hearing on probable cause.

The court records also mention that Latunski claimed he wrapped a rope around Bacon's ankles and then hung him naked from the rafters.

The records describe that Latunski took a knife to the victim's genitalia and then ate them.

The court records show Latunski had a lengthy criminal history, including a charge in 2013 for taking two of his four children from the mother.

The charges then were dismissed, and his ex-wife filed a motion to suspend the parenting time of the 50-year-old.

As detailed in the motion, she claimed that Latunski was diagnosed with depression and paranoid schizophrenia. He was showed traits of a personality disorder.

Bacon's father, though, told media outlets he believes that his son's murderer opted for the mental health excuse during the original arraignment on December 30th.

He added that Latunski had used as an excuse before and could use it again, emphasizing that he would like the perpetrator to be imprisoned for the remainder of his life.

The death of Bacon garnered a lot of attention, including condolences from namesake Kevin Bacon and Youtuber, Jeffery Star.

His mother, Pamela Bacon, claimed she was still not able to process her son's killing.

His grandmother, Grace Bacon, stated she could not imagine the horror that Kevin went through in his final moments.

As the founder of a former transgender advocacy group, Crossroads, she posted on social media that the LGBT community ought to arm themselves so they can cease to be seen as soft targets by predators.

Michigan state police have requested anyone with information concerning Kevin Bacon to step forward. They have also asked other victims of Mark Latunski to aid in their investigations.
