Hollywood's favorite party girl turned 30 on Thursday. Paris Hilton celebrated with a Moulin Rouge themed bash in Los Angeles. Along with her long list of guests were even some animals. There was a petting zoo with a lynx, porcupine, squirrel money and sloth set up for guest to enjoy along with absinthe and an aerial show. As for gifts? The heiress received a bright yellow $375 thousand Lexus LFA from her beau Cy Waits. Ever since entering the spotlight, the heiress has given the public a fair share of shocking moments. 3. The Simple Life
When reality television was first starting to gain momentum, Hilton and her then-best friend Nicole Richie were quick to jump on the bandwagon. For the show the two bid farewell to their privileged life styles and into the homes of middle-class America. A whole new world for Hilton, she had to learn to adapt to life she wasn’t used to. 4. Arrests
Hilton, like many A-list celebrities is no stranger to arrests. In 2006 the heiress was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Her license was suspended and she pleaded no contest to a reckless driving charge. Four years later she was arrested again on suspicion of cocaine possession in Las Vegas. 5. Funny or Die video
Paris took to the comedy site Funny or Die to respond to John McCain’s ad. McCain put Hilton in a Barack Obama attack ad. Hilton responded by making a humorous video saying she’ll be running for president. In the video she presents an energy policy which was a hybrid of McCain’s and Obama’s policies and says she picks Rihanna for Vice President. If elected, she would also paint the White House pink.
