Bradley Cooper, the latest Hollywood heartthrob, has been named as the sexiest man alive by People magazine, Wednesday.

I think it's really cool that a guy who doesn't look like a model can have this, he told the magazine. I think I'm a decent-looking guy. Sometimes I can look great, and other times I look horrifying.

My mother is going to be so happy, Cooper said, when he learned of the lastest accolade.

Cooper, 36, is known for his piercing blue eyes and a killer smile.
