Peter Dinklage seems unhappy with Disney's idea to remake their popular animated movie, "Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs," which was originally released in 1937.

During his appearance on WTF with Marc Maron on Monday, the "Game of Thrones" actor said the tale about seven dwarfs living in a cave together was a "backwards story."

"Literally no offense to anyone, but I was a little taken aback when they were very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White," Dinklage said. "But you’re still telling the story of 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.'"

Dinklage suggested the studio to take a step back and understand what exactly they were doing, adding it made "no sense" to him.

"You’re progressive in one way but then you’re still making that fu----g backwards story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together, what the f--k are you doing, man? Have I done nothing to advance the cause from my soap box?" he questioned. "I guess I’m not loud enough."

He further said he was not aware which studio was making the live-action movie, but they seemed to be very proud of it.

However, the actor noted he respects and loves everyone in the movie "who thought they were doing the right thing," adding, "But I’m just like, what are you doing?"

Since the first animated movie was released, many live-action remakes were made including "Mirror Mirror" in 2012, "7 Dwarves – Men Alone in the Wood" in 2004.

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" live-action movie will star Rachel Zegler as Snow White and Gal Gadot will play The Evil Queen's character.

On the work front, Dinklage will be featured in a musical drama, "Cyrano," which is slated to release on Feb. 25. The movie will also star Haley Bennett, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Ben Mendelsohn and Bashir Salahuddin.

The 52-year-old actor will be next seen in the movie, "American Dreamer," which is under post-production and slated to release later this year.

He is currently filming three movies -- "Hitpig," "The Toxic Avenger" and "Brothers." Dinklage will also feature in other movies including "The Thicket," "The Wild Bunch" and "The Dwarf."
