In the U.S., most humans don't eat horse meat, in part because the horse is considered pet-like. Horse meat is a delicacy in parts of Europe and Asia, however. In Belgium and France, for instance, it is quite popular. They like it salted and cured, and in stews and recipes like a lean beef. Horse is high in protein and Omega 3 fatty acids.

Florida teen Vanessa Gibbs, 17, missed her flight home, causing her mother to worry, because her fashion sense prevented her from boarding a flight from Virginia to Florida. Gibbs said she was detained by Transportation Security Administration, or TSA, officials at Norfolk International Airport because of the design of a gun on her handbag.
