Pornhub Launches 'Premium Lovers Membership' For Couples To Share Accounts

Pornhub has reportedly launched its Premium Lovers Membership, which will allow couples to share a membership account.

The latest addition to Pornhub’s extensive line of premium features, the new membership offer is aimed at helping couples spice up their intimate activities during quarantine, Forbes reported.

The newly debuted premium membership also offers a “lover’s playlist,” where partners can exchange their favorite clips and videos based on the genres the other partner likes.

The service came after Pornhub surveyed thousands of its premium users and learned that 64% of users wanted a better understanding of their partner’s porn preferences. It was also found that 68% believed that having awareness of their partner’s sexual fantasies would help boost their relationship intimacy.

"We decided to introduce our Premium Lovers membership in order to provide couples with a resource that can not only help spice up their relationships in quarantine but also to help each partner learn even more about their lover on a sexual level," said Corey Price, vice president of Pornhub.

"Couples who play together, stay together,” he added.

Backing the site’s claim, several previous studies highlighted the impact and benefits of watching porn as a couple. While it may not work for some, incorporating erotic videos into a relationship’s sexual repertoire can apparently be a useful way of stimulating arousal and intimacy.

"No matter what stage of a relationship you’re currently at, it’s important to infuse novelty into your repertoire," Dr. Laurie Betito, sex therapist and director of Pornhub’s Sexual Wellness Center, said in a press release. "Watching porn together can help foster intimacy emotionally and physically. You never know, you may discover something about your own sexual preferences you hadn’t considered before."

Pornhub’s Premium Lovers Membership for two will be offering shared playlists, thousands of adult video titles as well as a ton of HD and VR content. Members can also opt to receive video suggestions based on their partner’s preferred themes and genres.

Couples can now try out the membership for seven days free of charge. The shared account will cost $14.99 a month once the trial period ends.
