Gainers

Avanir Pharmaceuticals (AVNR) stock gained 4.06 percent to $2.05 in after-market trading. The shares closed Tuesday's regular trading up 6.49 percent at $1.97.

Bon-Ton Stores Inc. (BONT) stock increased 3.41 percent to $3.34 in after-market trading. The shares closed down 3.29 percent at $3.23 Tuesday.

Neurocrine Biosciences Inc. (NBIX) stock gained 3.08 percent to $8.70 in after-market trading. The shares closed Tuesday's regular trading up 3.05 percent at $8.44.

Vanda Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (VNDA) stock increased 2.84 percent to $4.70 in after-market trading. The shares closed down 0.44 percent at $4.57 Tuesday.

Dish Network Corp. (DISH) stock rose 2.52 percent to $29.33 in after-market trading. The shares closed Tuesday's regular trading down 1.34 percent at $28.61.

Losers

Cavium, Inc. (CAVM) stock slid 6.43 percent to $65 in after-market trading. The company said it lowered its fourth quarter revenue to range of $56 million to $57 million from previous forecast of $60.9 million to $62.3 million, while Street analysts predict $61.62 million. The company said revenue has been weaker than expected across both the enterprise and service provider as well as the broadband and consumer market segments, and further exasperated by a larger than expected impact of a hub transition at one of its major customers. The company said it has under-shipped to customer end demand in the fourth quarter. Gross margins for the fourth quarter are expected to be about one percentage point lower than the company's previous guidance, due to the lower sales volume.

Parlux Fragrances Inc. (PARL) stock declined 4.82 percent to $5.93 in after-market trading. The Law Firm of Levi & Korsinsky, LLP announced investigation into possible breaches of fiduciary duty by the board of Parlux Fragrances by failing to adequately shop the Company before entering into this transaction and whether Perfumania is underpaying for Parlux shares, thus unlawfully harming Parlux stockholders in connection with the sale of the company to Perfumania Holdings, Inc. (PERF).

Solazyme, Inc. (SZYM) stock decreased 3.25 percent to $11 in after-market trading. In a regulatory filing, the company said its chief operating officer Jeffrey Webster notified Solazyme on Dec. 20 that it was necessary for him to resign his position with the company effective immediately due to health and personal reasons. The company said his resignation is solely for health and personal reasons and he will be returning to Arkansas to retire with his family.

MAKO Surgical Corp. (MAKO) stock declined 3.23 percent to $25.50 in after-market trading. The shares closed Tuesday's regular trading down 0.98 percent at $26.35.

Rambus Inc. (RMBS) stock decreased 2.65 percent to $7.70 in after-market trading. The shares closed down 3.65 percent at $7.91 Tuesday.
