Power
Ghost (Omari Hardwick) and Kanan (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson) believe they have nothing to worry about on “Power” Season 5, episode 3. Starz

Dre is still the reigning king of New York City, but on “Power” Season 5, episode 3, Ghost, Kanan and Tommy will continue their mission to bring him down.

“Ghost (Omari Hardwick) and Tasha (Naturi Naughton) butt heads on how to grieve,” the synopsis for “Are We On the Same Team?” teases.

In the previous episode of the Starz series, Tasha made Ghost accompany her to a grief support group because she was having difficulty dealing with Raina’s (Donshea Hopkins) death. Although he tagged along, Ghost wouldn’t allow Tasha to share her feelings about their daughter’s death with the group.

The parents continue to mourn their daughter, but as for actually dealing with their feelings, it appears the two will continue to act hostile towards one another.

“Angela (Lela Loren) pursues the Jimenez Cartel while Kanan (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson) goes after Dre’s (Rotimi) organization,” the synopsis for “Power” Season 5, episode 3 says.

In the previous episode, Angela was determined to bring down the Jimenez Cartel, but she wasn’t aware that her own office was plotting to ruin her career due to her connection to Ghost. Will her desire to prove herself to her colleagues blind her from realizing her co-workers are planning her demise?

Elsewhere in the Starz promo video for “Are We On the Same Team?,” Tommy (Joseph Sikora) warns Kanan that he can’t keep watching Dre’s every move and not expect him to catch on. Kanan is eager to get back into the drug game and has every intention of taking over Dre’s organization while double-crossing Ghost and Tommy.

Power
Dre (Rotimi) and Cristobal (Matt Cedeño) continue to run the organization on “Power” Season 5, episode 3. Starz

However, it seems his enthusiasm about monitoring the young hustler may draw some unwanted attention from the men he plans to betray.

“Tommy confides in LaKeisha (La La Anthony) about his relationship with Teresi (William Sadler), complicating everyone’s lives,” the synopsis states.

Tommy’s attempt to take down Dre resulted in the death of two members of Teresi’s crime family. Tommy is feeling the pressure and needs someone to confide in, but Keisha may not be the best choice.

For the most part, Tasha has been trying to protect Keisha from what’s been going on. Although she asked Keisha to be her and Tariq’s (Michael Rainey Jr.) alibi on the night of Ray Ray’s (Marcus Callender) murder, she wouldn’t tell her why they needed one.

If Tommy reveals why Teresi is upset, he may explain that one of the reasons he ordered the hit on Dre was because he’s the reason why Tariq killed Ray Ray. Will Tommy’s confession be too much for Keisha to handle?

“Power” Season 5, episode 3 airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT on Starz.
