‘The Preacher’ Season 2 Confirmed! 6 New Actors To Join Cast

“Preacher” Season 2 is confirmed! The series could be bringing more exciting episodes for fans as new characters will be introduced in the upcoming installment. The AMC show has reportedly signed several new actors to join the cast.

On Wednesday, AMC announced that they will be supporting a new series, titled “The Son.” But that’s not all because the network also renewed hit series such as “Better Call Saul” and “Preacher,” Broadway World reported.

The first season of “Preacher” received positive reviews for the interesting and exciting plot. There were talks about Season 2 even before the first one ended, but the network remained mum about the subject until this week.

Since “Preacher” Season 2 has already been greenlighted by the network, more updates about the show also emerged. Deadline reported that AMC is expanding the cast of the hit series by signing six new actors to join the new season. Therefore, fans can expect a lot of new characters.

The new faces in “Preacher” Season 2 include Noah Taylor (“Game of Thrones”), Pip Torrens (“The Crown”) and Julie Ann Emery (“Better Call Saul”), who will all be series regulars. Meanwhile, Malcolm Barrett (“ Dear White People”), Ronald Guttman (“Homeland”) and Justin Prentice (“13 Reasons Why”) will play recurring roles.

There are no details about the new characters that these actors will be playing in “Preacher” Season 2. However, more information about them is expected to emerge in the coming days.

According to Comic Book, “Preacher” Season 2 will follow Jesse (Dominic Cooper), Tulip (Ruth Negga) and Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) as they go on a trip to find God. They blame him for all the misfortunes that happened in his absence. However, to add more drama and suspense, the trio will cross paths with Grail, a ruthless, religious secret society whose purpose is the opposite of Jesse's.
