Prince Charles, Princess Diana Relationship Became ‘Better’ After Their Divorce, Fan Claims

Prince Charles and Princess Diana might have had a much better relationship with each other after their divorce.

On the online forum site Quora, one royal fan recounted one of the interviews of the late Princess of Wales where she told the reporter that Prince Charles complimented her about her legs when she picked up her sons from the palace. Princess Diana was reportedly flattered.

“The anxiety and stress of having to be married were now over and although not a good match married, they were much better as friends. That is why Prince Charles personally flew to Paris to pick up Diana, Princess of Wales’ body and insisted she was respected as a royal,” Ree Connell said.

The royal fan went on to say that Prince Charles wept at the sight of Princess Diana’s dead body because, despite everything, the former couple reached a comfortable friendship. They also share two children together.

During their marriage, some royal fans were already convinced that Prince Charles didn’t really love Princess Diana. One of the most obvious indications was Prince Charles’ affair with Camilla Parker Bowles.

Princess Diana knew that Prince Charles and Camilla had something going on even before she tied the knot with the Prince of Wales. But Princess Diana and Prince Charles still pushed through with their nuptials.

One year before their divorce was finalized, Princess Diana talked about her marriage to Prince Charles during an interview with Panorama. Interviewer Martin Bashir asked the former royal if she knew about Prince Charles’ affair, and she said yes.

Princess Diana said that there were three of them in their marriage, which made it very crowded. The statement was uttered in reference to Camilla. After the interview, Queen Elizabeth II urged Prince Charles and Princess Diana to finalize their divorce.

One year after the couple’s divorce, Princess Diana passed away in a fatal car crash in Paris.
