While his brother Prince William and sister-in-law Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton recently welcomed a new addition to the royal family, Britain's Prince Harry is enjoying his freedom as he steers clear of relationship commitments. The eligible bachelor recently said he’s enjoying his time as an unattached man.

Prince Harry, 30, was very close to actress Cressida Bonas for two years, before they split last spring. Harry was last rumored to be courting German model Anastasia Guseva. As he recently told the Mirror, he’s not seeing anyone at the moment, and he’s OK with that. “I'm very happy not having a girlfriend. It's not a case of anything. ... I'm not, sort of, looking. It's cool," he said. The eligible bachelor wanted to clarify that it was his decision to stay single.

Prince Harry was a little more resentful at a comparison to the “Bridget Jones Diary” protagonist who struggles to find a relationship in her 30s. The royal joked to the Mirror, “Where does that come from? Because I write my own diary or because I don't have a girlfriend?"

While Harry may not be in a relationship right now, he does have a new love in his life. The Prince, who was away on his last military stint in Australia and missed the May 2 birth of his niece, Princess Charlotte, told the Mirror he is looking forward to meeting her. When asked how he felt about having children, Prince Harry told Sky News he would love to, adding he likes the idea of having a partner with him on royal tours.
