Prince Harry has reportedly freed up his diary ahead of Meghan Markle’s baby’s birth to make sure that he will be around when his wife goes into labor.

Alice Scarsi, a journalist for Express, said that they tried to reach out to Kensington Palace to ask about the Duke of Sussex’s schedule. They have been told that Prince Harry’s diary has already been cleared up.

A spokesperson for the palace also told the publication that planned events are usually added between one to two weeks ahead of the day they are scheduled to take place. This means that Prince Harry certainly has a free schedule in the coming days.

Just like him, Queen Elizabeth II’s schedule is also free until May 2. On May 3, Her Majesty will be heading to Windsor to present a service of the Royal Victorian Order at St. George’s Chapel. Since the Queen will already be in Windsor, she is expected to reunite with Prince Philip who has been staying there since his retirement.

Meanwhile, if Prince Harry and Markle’s baby arrives around May 3, the Queen will have an easy time visiting the Sussexes at Frogmore Cottage because it is just a 10-minute-drive from Windsor Castle.

Markle previously told royal fans that she is expected to give birth sometime at the end of April or the beginning of May. However, royal fans will not know exactly when the royal baby is born until after Markle and Prince Harry make an announcement.

Earlier this month, the royal couple said that they will keep their baby’s birth private until after they’ve enjoyed it as a family.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very grateful for the goodwill they have received from people throughout the United Kingdom and around the world as they prepare to welcome their baby. Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private,” the statement read.
